ICMR High School Scholarships in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh will hold a National Level Examination for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), for Indian national candidates at Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Varanasi on Sunday, July 17, 2011. A total of 150 Fellowships will be awarded: 120 scholarships awarded in Life Sciences stream (like microbiology, physiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Immunology, Pharmacology, Zoology, Environmental Science, Botany, Veterinary Science) , and thirty (30) scholarships in the Social Sciences stream (like Psychology, Sociology, Home Science, Statistics, Anthropology, Social & Health Economics working).
